SAN DIEGO, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—The Titan Corporation (NYSE:TTN), a leading national security solutions provider, announced today that the U.S. Navy has awarded the company a competitive contract having a potential value of $85 million with options, if exercised, to provide a full range of engineering, technical, and information technology services for telecommunication and related communication-electronic (C-E) systems for the Navy's Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Special Communication Requirements (SCR) Division, St. Inigoes, Maryland. The five-year contract (one base year and four option years) calls for Titan to research, design, develop, analyze, procure, prototype, fabricate, integrate, install, test and evaluate, train, and provide logistics support of telecommunication and related C-E systems.
