PAXRVR Awards More Contracts


McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $8,720,980 ceiling priced cost plus fixed fee delivery order against a previously awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-03-G-0004) to provide engineering services and flight certification support for the integration of the Joint Common Missile on the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. The engineering services include hardware integration analysis for the aircraft, wind tunnel testing and analysis to develop flight test recommendations, and flight test planning. The flight certification support includes ground and flight tests, test data analysis, and development of flight certification reports. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (89 percent); Sunnyvale, Calif. (6 percent); Philadelphia, Pa. (2.5 percent) and Tullahoma, Tenn. (2.5 percent) and is expected to be completed in September 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $6,684,694 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-01-C-0077) to exercise an option for technical and engineering support services for the development, procurement, integration, testing, installation and certification of shipboard communication systems; the development and integration of like systems at shore sites associated with the deployment of, or fleet support to, surface combatants; and the development, testing and integration of mobile and airborne communication systems designed to interface with the command, control, communication, computers and intelligence architecture of surface combatants. The estimated level of effort for this option is 135,400 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (80 percent); St. Inigoes, Md. (10 percent), Bath, Maine (5 percent); and Pascagoula, Miss. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Professional Software Engineering, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $6,427,707 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-00-D-0402) to exercise an option for engineering, technical and management services in support of the Marine Corps Distance Learning Program. The estimated level of effort for this option is 186,816 man-hours. Work will be performed at Government sites within the United States and Japan (97 percent), and Virginia Beach, Va. (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air System Command Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

ANTEON Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $11,574,062 not-to-exceed modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-00-D-0328) to exercise an option for approximately 249,600 hours of maintenance planning and design interface technical/management support services for the Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Depot (NADEP), Jacksonville, Fla. These services include evaluating initial designs, evaluating proposed design changes, maintenance planning and sustaining maintenance plans. Work will be performed at NADEP Jacksonville, Fla. (90 percent), and Oklahoma City, Okla. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
