Deadbeat Dad Escapes from Detention Center

On 08/31/04 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Jesse Aaron Garner escaped from the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Garner was serving a 179 day sentence for non-payment of child support. Garner was authorized to participate in the work release program while serving his sentence.
