The Charles County Sheriffs Office has obtained warrants for the arrest of two suspects involved in a burglary on July 14 that ended in a crash that killed a 50-year-old Indian Head woman and one of the suspects.
Derrick Delonta Scott, 18, and DeAngelo Wayne McNeil, 17, both of Washington, D.C., are wanted for two counts of First Degree Murder, Second Degree Burglary and other charges related to the incident. McNeil will be charged as an adult.
Alton Lee Peele-Howard, 16, of Suitland was the driver of the van involved in the fatal crash. He sustained injuries during the crash and was transported to Prince Georges County Hospital. He was released from the hospital on July 15 and was subsequently arrested. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center without bond. The passenger in that van, Anthony Deangelo Wade, 15, of Washington, D.C., was killed in the crash.
Ray Kenneth Spencer, 14, of Washington, D.C. and Trayvon Marquell Ham, 16, of Washington, D.C. were arrested in Washington D.C. for being in a stolen vehicle, which they stole in Charles County after committing the burglary. They will be served the arrest warrants once they are extradited to Charles County. Ham originally reported his name was Tavon Spencer. Fingerprints revealed his true identity.
Peele-Howard, Spencer and Ham were each charged with First Degree Murder and Second Degree Burglary.
