Charles County Sheriff's Office Report for July 30, 2004


THEFT: Sometime between 1 p.m. on July 26 and 3 p.m. on July 28, suspect(s) stole Maryland registration plates from a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer parked in the parking lot of Waldorf Dodge in the 2400 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf. The plates bear Maryland registration A081470. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer G. Barnhart is investigating.

THEFT: Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on July 26 and 8:30 a.m. on July 27, suspect(s) forced entry into Maximum Title Company and Fitzgerald Financial Group in the 3200 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf, stole money and two laptop computers and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer E. Baker is investigating.


BURGLARY: On July 26 at 5:40 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Beltway Title in the 3000 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the burglary. Investigation revealed a suspect forced entry into the business but fled upon encountering an employee at the business. The suspect is described as a black male who is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a red baseball hat. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer P. Tona is investigating.

BURGLARY: Sometime between 8:45 p.m. on July 25 and 3 p.m. on July 26, suspect(s) forced entry into a shed at a residence in the 16500 block of Prince Frederick Road in Hughesville and stole a table saw and other items. The suspect(s) then entered a vehicle parked at the residence and stole music CDs. The suspect(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer G. Barnhart is investigating.

BURGLARY: On July 25 at 6:15 p.m., Officer G. Barnhart responded to the 2300 block of Crain Highway for the theft. Investigation revealed sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., suspect(s) forced entry into two vehicles. The suspect(s) stole a CD player from the first vehicle, a red Ford Ranger, and stole a CD player and a cell phone from the second vehicle, a tan Honda Accord. The suspect(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer G. Barnhart is investigating.

BURGLARY: Sometime between 1 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. on July 22, suspect(s) forced entry into a residence in the 4200 block of Livingston Road in Indian Head, stole a television and money and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-743-2222. Officer R. Gilroy is investigating.
