RACIAL, RELIGIOUS AND ETHNIC INCIDENT: On July 11 at 2:20 p.m., Officer J. Pratta responded to the entrance of Dorchester Greens on Quillback Street in Waldorf for the destruction of property report. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted a swastika on the entrance sign to the neighborhood. ASSAULT: On July 9 at 3 p.m., Officer E. Baker responded to Southern Maryland Hospital Center in the 7500 block of Surratts Road in Clinton for the report of a stabbing that took place in Charles County. Investigation revealed Jameson Jamal Parker, 22, of Waldorf allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old Waldorf man in the 2000 block of Tanglewood Drive in Waldorf. Parker was located and arrested on July 10 and charged with First- and Second- Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
BURGLARY: On July 9 at 3:13 a.m., Charles County Sheriffs Officers responded to Hunts Tavern in the 6500 block of Bensville Road in Pomfret for the intrusion alarm. Investigation revealed two suspects forced entry into the business, stole cigarettes and fled the scene. The first suspect is described as white male with dark hair, a receding hair line and facial hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a picture and writing on it. The second suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriffs Office at 301-743-2222. Officer E. POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE: On July 8 at 11:19 p.m., Officer R. Peters conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an inoperative tag light on Smallwood Drive at St. Patricks Drive in Waldorf. Investigation revealed the driver, William Richard Borza Jr., 36, of Waldorf, was in possession of suspected cocaine with an approximate street value of $5,600. Borza was charged with Possession With Intent To Distribute Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacturing, Distributing or Possession of Equipment to Produce a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
EXECUTION OF SEARCH WARRANTS: On July 8 at 6:32 p.m., Charles County Sheriffs detectives, officers, K9 units and Emergency Services Team members, with Calvert County Sheriffs Special Response Team members, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agents and Drug Enforcement Administration Agents, responded to two Waldorf residences to execute search warrants. At the first residence in the 15000 block of Woodville Road, law enforcement officials seized a large quantity of crack cocaine with an approximate street value of $2,500, approximately $2,250, a semi-automatic handgun and a large quantity of marijuana and paraphernalia. Juan Perrie Hawkins, 29, of Brandywine was charged with Narcotics Possession With Intent to Distribute a Large Amount, Possession With Intent To Distribute Crack Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine. Charles Timothy-Erwin Robinson, 34, of Waldorf was charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine. At a residence in the 10000 block of Astill Court, law enforcement officials seized a quantity of marijuana and documents were recovered. Charges are pending against four other adults.
