WHITE PLAINS, MD – The Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management announces that approximately 500 feet of DeMarr Road, from the U.S. 301 intersection to the east side of the Conrail railroad tracks, is scheduled to close to through traffic for utility construction and associated road repairs on or about June 16, 2003, and re-open on or about October 30, 2003. The closure may be postponed or extended if weather or other conditions create construction delays.
Signs will be posted notifying the public of the closure and detour routes.
