The Southern Maryland Youth Choir was founded in 2014 and will begin its first season this fall. The group serves students in grades 2-8 in the tri-county area and is split into an elementary choir and middle school choir, both rehearsing weekly at the same time and location. SMYChoir welcomes all singers, including those with little-to-no musical background. Admission to the group requires an audition with one of the directors; it will be a low-stress opportunity for them to get to know you a little better in advance of the first rehearsal.
