Celebrate Maryland’s first families on Indian Discovery Day, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Historic St. Mary's City. Try archery, bead making, traditional dancing, cordage, flint knapping, and traditional dancing. Discover how the Woodland Indians made stone tools, cured animal hides for clothing, started fires without matches, and built their houses.
