September 29 & 30 Historic St. Mary's City Explore the ways conflict has impacted the lives of your neighbors and ancestors when War Comes to St. Mary’s on September 29 and 30. Special activities -- drills, demonstrations, weaponry, and period entertainment—will take place from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Historic St. Mary’s City. At 1:30 p.m. take a walking tour along a Timeline of Conflict and meet reenacators representing different time periods and conflicts. After hours, try period dances on the State House lawn. No partner or experience is needed and the dance is free! All dances will be taught, then called, and accompanied by live music beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visit their website at www.stmaryscity.org.
