The St. Mary’s County Department of Aging & Human Services is once again hosting a Health Fair for the community to offer information on the latest news in health products, options, and services which promote healthful living. There will be important information available on nutrition, medical equipment, products and services, diabetes information, physical therapy services, counseling, library cards, chiropractic services, and disaster preparedness. By having all of these services located in one place, you and your family can be provided with the support needed to get through the tough winter months ahead. We have some exciting new additions to the Health Fair including a commercial shredder truck provided by PNC Bank. The truck will be available from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for anyone who wishes to shred documents, including financial and other personally identifiable documents they no longer need. Meal replacement samples will be provided by the Nutrition Hot Spot in California, MD. The Nutrition Hot Spot is a Daily Shake Bar featuring 40+ flavors and distributor of Herbalife®. Free samples of organic Forever Eden Skincare products will be available throughout the day. Another exciting change is lunch will be available for purchase at the Heath Fair courtesy of Rita B's Catering. Lots of prizes, giveaways and great information!
