Volunteer Southern Maryland serves as a one-stop shop for volunteerism that connects volunteers with opportunities to serve with local nonprofit organizations in need of volunteers. We do this through a free interactive online database of local nonprofit agencies and volunteer opportunities that is accessible to anyone at anytime.
Volunteer Southern Maryland is hosted by the Nonprofit Institute at the College of Southern Maryland and is dedicated to mobilize citizens to meet local needs through volunteer service. The Nonprofit Institute provides consultation, training and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations to build their skills in recruiting, managing, retaining and recognizing volunteers.
