The St. Charles String Quartet presents classical chamber music concerts in the Southern Maryland and Washington, DC region. It originated as a group of musicians performing small recitals in St. Charles located in Charles County. Concert locations are at Christ Church (La Plata), area churches (Waldorf), and Lee District Park Amphitheater (Franconia, VA).Our repertoire includes quartets by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Ravel, Borodin, Dvorak and Shostakovich.
