Throwaways Rescue Foundation, Ltd. (TRF) is a nonprofit operating out of Waldorf, MD whose main purpose is to facilitate increasing the quality of life of our domestic animal population by providing education, medical services, and providing an improved habitat for them. Under this we provide shelter, food and medical care for over 100 cats in and around Waldorf and provide a full management plan in which stray and feral cats living in Maryland, Virginia and DC are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated and sterilized. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats are returned whenever possible to familiar habitat under the life long care of volunteers.100% of all funding to Throwaways is used directly for the animals and is not used for administrative costs.
