The Humane Society of Calvert County (HSCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humane education and care for domestic pets. Through volunteer foster homes and a "no-kill" shelter, HSCC rescues hundreds of dogs and cats (young and old) each year. After attending to any health care needs, including spay/neuter, HSCC staff and volunteers work one-on-one with each animal to get to know the animal's personality and to find a suitable adoptive home.If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us by email or phone. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age (ages 10-18 must be accompanied by an adult.)
