On April 30th, Baden Elementary School PTA will host an interactive PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! program for parents and caregivers. During the event, parents and caregivers will engage in meaningful peer-to-peer conversations about the various aspects of screen readiness; become familiar with tools and resources that help determine screen readiness; and gain new ideas to promote a healthy digital home. The Ready, Tech, Go! program helps families build knowledge and skills to use technology safely and responsibly right from the start.

The program is part of a collaboration between National PTA and AT&T. The collaboration is part of AT&T’s initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption and National PTA’s PTA Connected initiative, which seeks to improve digital access and equity, digital safety and well-being, cybersecurity and digital literacy for all children through tailored programs, dissemination of resources and tools and community conversations. Since 2021, AT&T has committed $5 billion dollars to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed internet by 2030.
