Yard Sale to benefit the Lutheran Mission Society’s Southern Maryland Compassion Center (SMCC) will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 Charles Street in La Plata, on May 16th from 8am-12pm. Reservations for space to sell your items will be available starting April 20st to noon on May 15th by signing up online at www.growingwithgrace.org or calling the church (301-932-0963) weekdays. The cost per space is $20. Donations of items for SMCC will be accepted on May 15th from 5-7:30 pm at the church. The SMCC is a mobile trailer that provides clothing, household items, and food for the needy in Southern Maryland.
