The musical partnership between Alasdair Fraser, long regarded as Scotland's premier fiddle ambassador, and the sizzlingly-talented Californian cellist Natalie Haas may not seem an obvious one, but the duo's dazzling teamwork, driving rhythms, and their shared passion for improvising on the melody and the groove of Scottish tunes has helped reconstruct and revive the Scottish tradition of playing dance music on violin and cello. They have toured internationally for over twenty-five years, wowing audiences at festivals and concerts worldwide with their unique sound and have released six critically acclaimed, award-winning albums along the way.
Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas will be performing live at the Christ Church Parish Hall, 37497 Zach Fowler Rd, Chaptico, MD. Doors open at 7 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. Complimentary refreshments will be offered. Admission is $15 for members, $20 for non-members, and children under 17 when accompanied by a paying adult are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. See the website for more details. Info: smtmd2@gmail.com,
