Dining with Diabetes is a four-week, evidence-based national Extension program for adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes. The program teaches healthy meal planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control, label reading, and the importance of healthy fats and fiber in managing diabetes. Participants will learn how to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals, incorporate physical activity into their lifestyle, and monitor their ‘numbers’. Attending all sessions is encouraged to gain the full benefit of the program. Advance registration is required.
