11:00am—4:00pm each day

No reservations needed- Just drop in! Appropriate for all ages!

Join visiting artist, Zsudayka Nzinga, in the Main Gallery and contribute mixed media work to an ever-growing display as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! Visitors will learn how to make a collage using a Japanese technique known as chigiri. These collaged works will come together to create several larger than life human silhouettes. Artist and Annmarie staff will be on hand to lightly guide you through the process, making it an activity great for all ages and abilities. While you're here, explore the gallery show, "Fabric of Our Lives: Works by Zsudayka Nzinga", which explores the richness of American Black culture through interior settings, motherhood, spirituality, and history. Don't forget to stop in the artlab to create your own make and take project for your home as well. It's a day full of creative and inspiring fun!
