Join us for the final presentation of a two-part event that explores African American life in 18th century Maryland. The Sharper Family Series brings to life the stories of Cate Sharper (a woman enslaved in the mid-1700s) and the family she could have had.
Five years ago her son was sold away. Come see the touching reunion of a mother and her son.
This is a virtual event that will be hosted on Zoom. The presentation will include a museum theater video “Reunion of Cate & Jack,” followed by a talk/Q&A with Shemika Berry, the interpretation coordinator.
This is a free presentation, but registration is required. Please follow the link below to register. Once you have registered, you will receive instructions via email about how to log-in to the presentation.
