The Annual Big Conversation is scheduled for Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00 -5:00 pm. The focus for this civil dialogue is, The Progress and Challenges in our Schools. Due to the expected interest in the topic, the Big Conversation venue is the Patuxent High School auditorium. Doors will open for registration at 1:30 p.m.
The forum will consist of a panel discussion with a moderator, and small group sessions lead by trained facilitators. In the small groups, participants are invited to share their stories and give feedback to the superintendents of schools and the commissioners of each county regarding their experiences and suggestions. A summary paper will be transmitted to the State and the Southern Maryland community as well.
