Calvert Hospice is pleased to provide educational seminars to our community. Attendees will learn about topics that impact end-of-life care for patients and their families. Sessions are designed to encourage group discussion. Our next seminar is entitled "Understanding Advance Directives and the MOLST" and will be held on February 13, 2018 from 1:00—2:30 pm. Calvert Hospice will provide refreshments. The seminar is free.

Presenters: Rosemary Keffler, Esq. of Delaney & Keffler, LLC and Marziyeh Viverette, NP of Calvert Hospice
Ms. Keffler will discuss the importance of making decisions about personal preferences and treatments and will share important information about Advance Directives. Ms. Viverette will review the MOLST form with participants and provide information about the meaning of code status, treatment options, and supporting documentation.
