Cost: Free The community is invited to join the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County, the Department of Aging & Human Services, and the Triad/SALT Council to thank this year's Law Enforcement Officers of the Year and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to their community. The 25th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m. at the 5 South Event Center, located at 21030 Point Lookout Road in Callaway, MD. The Officer of the Year from each agency will receive a citation from the Office of the Governor in addition to recognitions from the Maryland Senate and House of Delegates, as well as plaques and/or certificates of appreciation from the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County, the Department of Aging & Human Services, and the Triad/SALT Council.
