Come out to swing, promenade, and do-si-do to lively jigs, reels and waltzes at the SMTMD contra dance, on at the Christ Church Parish Hall in Chaptico. The Southern MD Open Band will be playing live acoustic string music and our caller will teach and call the dances. The beginners dance workshop (no partner required) starts at 7:00 pm, and the dance begins at 7:30 pm. Admission is $10 for non-SMTMD members; $6 for SMTMD members (band members and children under 17 are free). There will be an ice cream social during the intermission. Please bring a water bottle.
