During the month of September, curl up with a hot new book, then meet up virtually in a Facebook chat room on October 1 to discuss it. Our first book will be the widely acclaimed best seller "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens. This book, written in 2018, topped the New York Times Fiction Best Sellers of 2019 and 2020 for 30 different weeks! The story follows the life of Kya, who as a young girl grows up isolated in the marsh of North Carolina and her coming of age. In later years, she is linked to a local celebrity who is found dead. If you would like to read this book, then discuss on October 1 at 10 a.m., e-mail Sheila.Graziano@stmarysmd.com for instructions and details. The Lexington Park library has a few copies on hold for us, for the first ones to respond.
