Carl Bernard Flerlage, 66, of Waldorf, MD passed away at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC on Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born on February 28, 1947, in La Plata, MD to the late Herman A. Flerlage and the late Gertrude Goldsmith Flerlage.

Carl was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, William Flerlage, August Flerlage, and Benjamin Flerlage.

Carl is survived by his sons, Darren L. Flerlage, Carl B. Flerlage, daughters, LavernC. Harvey, Angelina C. Richards, brother, Anthony Flerlage, sisters, Mary Ullman, Helen,Mayo, grandchildren, Marie, Victoria, Brooke, Alexis, Trevor, Blake, Cody, Darren Jr., Austin, and one great-grandchild, Hailey.

Carl was an employee of Chalk Point Generating Station for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, farming, and gardening.

Family and friends will be received for Carl's Life Celebration on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

There will be a Funeral Service on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dave Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3165 Mattawoman Beantown Road Waldorf, MD, 20604.
