Laila Janaé Dorsey-Woodland, infant, of Mechanicsville, MD, received her Angel wings on September 14, 2013. Laila was born on September 14, 2013 to parents, Marketta Marie Dorsey and LaQuan Ravelle Woodland.

Angel Baby Laila is now cuddled in Heaven. She was ours for a little while, but with Jesus forever. Laila, you are gone, but not forgotten. Although we are apart, your spirit lives within all of us and forever in our hearts.

Laila leaves to cherish her precious, sweet memories her parents, Marketta and LaQuan; sisters, Taylor and Suriyah Woodland; grandparents, Linda Short (Terence), Robert Mitchell Dorsey (Peggy), Angela Young and Perry Christopher Woodland; great grandparents, Robert Henry Short, Sr. (Renae), Elder Clarence Leo Young, Paul Woodland, John B. (Oak) Dorsey and Anna Lucille Dorsey; aunts and uncles, Paul Nelson, Nakia Short, Davonna and Da'Ja Young, Divante Kyler, Kendrah Bowman, Keashia, Dontavious, Sarya and Leaire Dorseyand a host of other relatives.

Service will be on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Road, Helen, MD.

Pallbearers are Marcelis Somerville, Tracy Hemsley, Rashaud Nelson and Lord (Matt) Milburn.
