Linda Maxine Suite, also known as Momma Suite, 78, of Leonardtown, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 21, 2024.

Momma Suite was born on April 14, 1946, in Leonardtown, MD to Ada and James Williams. She married Joseph Elmer Suite on June 6, 1969. She raised her children Jimmy, Barbara, Joey, Wayne, Mikey, Linda, and Lorretta. Momma Suite spent her life working in the tobacco fields and she was a caretaker for many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially when it came to playing bingo, the Maryland Lottery, and shuffleboard. She was a strong woman who was never afraid to tell you how it is and not think twice about it. Her strong will and determination was how she cared for and loved her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Ada and James Williams; her daughter Barbara Ann Williams; and several siblings.

Linda is survived by her children, James "Jimmy" Suite (Teresa) of Chaptico, MD, Joseph "Joey" Suite (Melody) of Greenville, SC, John "Wayne" Suite Sr. (Frankie) of Mechanicsville, MD, Richard "Mikey" Suite (Gina) of Chaptico, MD, Linda Brady (Paul Sr.) of Bushwood, MD, and Lorretta Dobson (Mark) of Lexington Park, MD; and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Bernice Shannon, Cynthia Horsman, Connie Bridgett, James Williams Jr. (Junior), Paul Williams, Mary Willett, and Ann Sater.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Father Chip Luckett officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will beJohn Latham, John "Wayne" Suite Jr., Paul Brady Jr., Richard "Ricky" Brady, Stephen Suite, and Joseph "JoJo" Suite. Honorary Pallbearer is Nicholas Gibson Jr.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's and Cedar Lane Senior Living Apartments.
