Willodean Campbell Owens, loving wife of 64 years to Robert Owens, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July, 19, 2021 after a long illness. She is survived by her son Scott (Jeanette) and daughter Stephanie (Randy Henshaw), six grandsons, one granddaughter, eleven great-grandchildren and younger brother JN Campbell (Burma).

Originally from Argo, Alabama, Willodean relocated to the Washington, DC area after high school graduation. Known for her incredible Southern cooking, she served for years at Dunkirk Baptist Church with The Hospitality Committee. Those who grew up in her neighborhood of Holland Cliffs Shores will remember her warm Southern drawl, sweet tea and endless supply of treats.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens Cemetery 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
