Robert Allen Redman, 69, of Callaway, Md., died April 25, 2021, at his residence. Born January 8, 1952, he was the son of the late George William Redman Sr. and Garnett Cecilia Combs Redman.
He is survived by his siblings, George William Redman Jr., Prosperity, S.C., Thomas "David" Redman, Marion, S.C., Joan Bernadette Tippett, Lexington Park, Md., Mary Cecilia Redman, Callaway, Md., Carole Ann Redman, Rehoboth Beach, Del.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Patrick "Dick" Redman, Tucson, Ar., on November 2, 2020.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kathy Redman Cordes, George William Redman III, Kathleen M. Tippett, David A. Tippett, Nancy T. Morris, Melissa Henderson-Catlett, David Benjamin Redman, Karen Lovelace Tofte and Grant William Lovelace.

Robert was fun, kind, smart, hardworking, yet remained humble. He was a devoted and caring son to his mother especially in her senior years.

He loved gardening and farming, going to flea markets, visiting and helping family and others. He had a love for all animals. He once nurtured baby opossums, whose mother was hit by a car, releasing them when ready to the wild.

He worked for St. Mary's County Schools, as a building service worker. After 38 years of service, he retired from his last assignment at Town Creek Elementary, where the staff knew him as "Bob". He treated his co-workers like family, with his kindness and humor.

Funeral services will be at Mattingley Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown. Md., Friday, April 30, 2021, Visitation will be 10:00-11:00a.m., Prayer service at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Ammon Ripple officiating, followed by burial at Holy Face Catholic Church Cemetery, Great Mills, Md.

Pallbearers will be David A. Tippett, Benny Redman, Dylan Henderson, Carole Ann Redman, Diane Schwartz and Charles L. Henderson.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Second District Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, 45245 Drayden Rd., Valley Lee, Md. 20692.
