Pedestrian Struck by 2 Cars in Fort Washington on MD 210


(Aug. 11, 2015)—The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Fort Washington. The victim is 30-year-old Jonathan Richard Green of Pitt Lane in Oxon Hill.

On Monday, August 10, at about 10:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the 8400 block of Indian Head Highway for a collision involving a pedestrian. When they arrived, the officers found Green in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead on scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals Green had been in his car traveling on Indian Head Highway. For reasons which are under investigation, Green was out of his car which was still in the roadway. The car was running and the doors were locked. Green was struck by two cars heading southbound on Indian Head Highway. Both drivers remained on the scene. They were not hurt.
