St. Mary's Co. Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan 09, 2015)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

DEPUTY INVOLVED IN CRASH IN CALVERT CO.: On January 6 at approximately 1:20 PM, Deputy J. Bare of the Patrol Division was involved in a traffic collision on Route 4 near Bowie Shop Road. Deputy Bare was transported by ambulance to Calvert Hospital with minor injuries. 5 total vehicles were involved and Deputy Bare was not at fault in the crash. The Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and is handling the investigation.

1/8/2015 THEFT: A complainant reported unknown suspect(s) stole property from the Charlotte Hall Library. Case remains open. Case #1457-15.

1/8/2015 BURGLARY: A victim, who resides on Calla Lane in Great Mills, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unsecured residence and stole property. Case remains open. Case #1469-15.

1/9/2015 BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE: A victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in from of the Big Lot's in Lexington Park. Suspect(s) stole property from the vehicle. Case remains open and is assigned to Deputy Teague. Case #1512-15.
