MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 12, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Thursday, May 29 at 1:28 pm, Tpr. K. Morris initiated a traffic stop on a green passenger car on Golden Beach Road and All Faith Church Road for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Jason Steven Holt, 32, of Mechanicsville, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-015395)

ASSAULT: On Saturday, May 31 at 8:38 pm, Tpr. E. Krenik responded to the 20000 block of Hermanville Road for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Christopher Carl Mackle, 52, of Lexington Park, hit a male victim in the head with the blunt end of a hatchet. Mr. Makle was arrested and charged with Assault - First Degree and Assault - Second Degree. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-015923)

ASSAULT ON POLICE: On Sunday, June 1 at 6:07 pm, Tpr. A. Oyler responded to Myrtle Point Park for a reported domestic disturbance. During the investigation, Cadance Daniel Kozloski, 20, of La Plata began acting disorderly, causing several groups of people to stop. The investigation was concluded and it was determined that there was no domestic assault. Mr. Kozloski continued to act disorderly, and was informed that he was being placed under arrest. Mr. Kozloski began to resist arrest, and assaulted Tpr. Oyler. Mr. Kozloski was taken into custody and charged with Assault Second Degree - Law Enforcement Officer, Resist/ Interfere with Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and several additional charges. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-016073)

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, June 1 at 8:54 pm, TFC M. Pitcher conducted a patrol check of Canopy Liquors in Lexington Park. He observed Joseph Albert Baker, 24, of Hollywood with an open alcoholic beverage standing outside the establishment. Upon contact, Mr. Baker advised TFC Pitcher that he had CDS in his possession. He was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana and Alcoholic Beverage: Consume Retail Establishment/ Grounds/ Etc. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-016081)

ASSAULT: On Sunday, June 1 at 9:44 pm, Tpr. E. Krenik responded to the 23000 block of Maypole Road for a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that Camilliah Lashay Somerville, 20, of Leonardtown, had assaulted a female victim. Ms. Somerville was arrested and charged with Assault - Second Degree. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-016085)

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, June 3 at 9:21 pm, Tpr. A. Oyler initiated a traffic stop on a green passenger car on Route 245 and Doctors Crossing Road for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Jeffrey Raymond Marquard, 29, of California, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Not Marijuana. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (14-MSP-016369)

DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, June 4 at 1:18 am, Cpl. N. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a gray passenger car on Saratoga Drive and North Essex Drive for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Kevin Darnell Dyson, 20, of Lexington Park, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-016384)

THEFT: On Wednesday, June 4 at 5:01 pm, Tpr. E. Krenik responded to the Kmart located in California for a reported theft. A juvenile, 13, of Fort Meade, and a second juvenile, 16, of California were arrested and charged with Theft Less Than $100. They were transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released to parents. (14-MSP-016480)

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, June 9 at 12:28 am, Tpr. A. Oyler initiated a traffic stop on a gray passenger car on Route 235 and Route 4 for a minor traffic infraction. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. The driver, Stormy Janet Catterina Dale, 35, of Hollywood, was placed under arrest and charged with CDS: Possession - Marijuana. She was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released. (14-MSP-017089)
