MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 10, 2014)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, January 6, 2014 at 3:20 pm, TFC M. Pitcher served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16325) on Corey Coniel Contee, 42, of Lusby. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with charges of First Degree Assault, Theft, Fleeing and Eluding, and Traffic Offenses on January 5, 2014. Mr. Contee was located in Lexington Park. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, January 6, 2014 at 4:00 pm, Senior Trooper E. Evans served a Bench Warrant (T316291) on Desmond Nicholas Fitzgerald, 20, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Driving Without Required License. Mr. Fitzgerald was located at the Calvert County Detention Center. He was extradited to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 1:35 pm, TFC R. Jackson served an Arrest Warrant (T3-16305) on Shadona Rockelle Reed, 27, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with a charge of Assault Second Degree on December 18, 2013. Ms. Reed turned herself in to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was arrested, served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:51 pm, TFC J. Gibson initiated a traffic stop on a gold passenger car on Golden Beach Road at Triangle Drive for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Robert Earl Thompson, 24, of Mechanicsville, informed TFC Gibson that he had CDS paraphernalia in the vehicle. Mr. Thompson was subsequently arrested and charged with CDS Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for processing and later released.
