Drug Arrests in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 30, 2013)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007.

OXYCODONE: Detectives from the Vice/Narcotics Drug Diversion Unit (DDU) received information regarding the alleged distribution of Oxycodone by Suspect Kenneth Francis Boothe, 35 of Bushwood, . On September 25, Boothe was observed making contact with another suspect, Joshua James Hixson, 32 of Hollywood, in the parking lot of a Hollywood business. A transaction between the two occurred. Several Oxycodone tablets were recovered from Suspect Hixson and more than 100 Oxycodone tablets (street value of $1,800) were seized from Boothe. Both were arrested and additional charges are pending.
