MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 23, 2013)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 7:08am, TFC E. Mersman served a Bench Warrant (T3-16126) on Brittany Nicole Lambeck, 23, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary’s County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended on July 29, 2013. Ms. Lambeck was located in Leonardtown, placed under arrest, and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 3:22pm, Tpr D. Buckalew served a Bench Warrant (T3-16113) on Amy Beth Greenwell, 35, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary’s County with an original charge of Driving while Suspended. Ms. Greenwell turned herself in to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT/TRESPASSING: On Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:28am, TFC S. Ditoto responded to the Wal-Mart Store located in California for a reported theft. Upon arrival, he made contact with the Loss Prevention Officer, Lewis Tyler Yates, 21, of Saint Inigoes had violated a Notice Not to Trespass and stolen numerous merchandise items. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with Theft less than $1000 and Trespassing and served with an additional Notice Not to Trespass. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, August 16, 2013 at 3:00pm, Tpr K. Baker served a Bench Warrant (T3-16103) on Daniel Lee Gorhan Jr, 45, of Great Mills. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary’s County with a original charges of Driving on Revoked License and Driving while Suspended Out of State. Mr. Gorhan was located at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was being held on other unrelated charges. He was served and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST, DUI: On Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1:03am, TFC E. Evans conducted a traffic stop on a blue passenger car on Mervell Dean Road and Three Notch Road for a minor traffic infraction. After contacting the driver, Rachel Marie Zeone, 30, of Mechanicsville, an odor of marijuana was detected. A search of the vehicle was conducted and led to the recovery of CDS and the arrest of Ms. Zeone and passenger, William Brandon Ball, 28, of Leonardtown. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. Ms. Zeone was charged with the possession of CDS and DUI, and Mr. Ball was charged with the possession of CDS.

HANDGUN IN VEHICLE, DUI: On Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:28am, TFC E. Evans conducted a traffic stop on a blue truck on Three Notch Road and By The Mill Road for a minor traffic infraction. The driver, Kevin Dale Ayscue, 47, of Brandywine, was placed under arrest for DUI. A search of the vehicle for alcohol was conducted and led to the recovery of a handgun. Mr. Ayscue was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with DUI, Possession of a Handgun While Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Handgun in a vehicle. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT, RESISTING ARREST, WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 9:00am, TFC N. Gresko and TFC J. Gibson responded to an address in Mechanicsville to serve a Bench Warrant on Terry Lee Phillips, 47, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Phillips resisted all lawful attempts to make the arrest. During the altercation, Pamela Michelle Phillips, 43, of Mechanicsville, assaulted TFC Gibson and attempted to interfere with the arrest. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT, VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On Monday, August 19, 2013 at 5:56pm, Tpr W. Couter responded to the Big Lots Store located in Lexington Park for a reported assault. Upon arrival, Tpr Couter made contact with a male victim, 23, of California, and numerous witnesses, who stated that Zachary Micah Sawyer, 23, of Great Mills, had chased the victim around the store with a knife. Mr. Sawyer was located in the area of Valley Court in Lexington Park where he was violating a protective order on a female victim, 22, of Lexington Park. Mr. Sawyer was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
