MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 6, 2013)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, July 15 at 10:25pm, Tpr. S. Gallagher served a Bench Warrant (T316058) on Domonique Vonte Washington, 23, of Charlotte Hall. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Calvert County with the original charge of Driving on a Suspended License on June 7, 2013. Mr. Washington turned himself into the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. Mr. Washington was served the warrant and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, July 15 at 1:01pm, Tpr. D. Buckalew served a Bench Warrant (T316071) on Billy Willfred Morlong Jr., 42, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with the original charge of Driving on a Suspended License on July 10, 2013. Mr. Morlong turned himself into the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. Mr. Morlong was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

CDS ARREST: On Friday, July 19 at 11:59am, TFC Reuschling initiated a traffic stop at Rt. 247 and Kavanaugh Road for a minor traffic infraction. While speaking with the driver, Aaron Michael Hawkins, 32, of Mechanicsville, an odor of marijuana was detected. A search of the vehicle was conducted and led to the recovery of CDS. Mr. Hawkins was placed under arrest and transported to the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack, where he was charged with possession of CDS and later released.

ASSAULT: On Saturday, July 20 at 0701 hours, TFC E. Reuschling, responded to RT. 235 and Poplar Ridge Road, Lexington Park to assist Tpr. Couter on a traffic stop with an intoxicated driver. While assisting Tpr. Couter, TFC Reuschling observed a passenger of the vehicle, Cedrice Lorraine Jacobs, 20, of Lexington Park, assault another passenger in the vehicle. Ms. Jacobs was subsequently arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Ms. Jacobs was charged with Assault Second Degree. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. At 0715 hours, Tpr. C. Ruth assisted Tpr. Couter by waiting for a sober driver to respond and pick up the passengers and the vehicle. While waiting, Tpr. Ruth observed Traevon Michael Miller, 18, of Lexington Park, assault another passenger in the vehicle. Mr. Miller was subsequently arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Miller was charged with Assault Second Degree. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

CDS ARREST: On Saturday, July 20 at 12:58am, TFC Ditoto initiated a traffic stop on a white passenger car on Rt. 235 and Rt. 237 for a minor traffic infraction. While speaking with the driver, David Michael Smith, 47, of Callaway, CDS was observed in plain view. Mr. Smith was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Smith was charged with possession of CDS and was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
