Drug Arrests in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 8, 2013)—The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division, and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

COCAINE: Vice/Narcotics detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on the Lexington Park home of Maurice Terrell Kent, age 30. The warrant was related to cocaine distribution. Felony amounts of cocaine and items believed to be proceeds were recovered from the home. The case was presented to the St. Mary's County Grand Jury and an indictment was issued in the form of an arrest warrant. Suspect Kent was arrested and originally held without bond.

OXYCODONE: Bobbi Jo Tippett, age 20 of Hollywood, was arrested for Possession of an altered Oxycodone prescription with the intent to distribute the obtained controlled substance.

MARIJUANA: Marcus Aurelian Clark, age 46 of Lexington Park, was indicted after detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on his home and uncovered a marijuana grow operation. More than $9,000 in marijuana plants, equipment and paraphernalia was seized.

MARIJUANA: James Roy Chase, age 26 of Mechanicsville, was indicted and subsequently arrested for Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute. He was originally held without bond.

MARIJUANA: Kyle Blake Henderson, age 20 of Lexington Park, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana after detectives presented his case to the Grand Jury.

MARIJUANA: James Wilson Bush Jr., age 19 of Lexington Park, was indicted and arrested after detectives indicted him for Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute.

PROSTITUTION: [REDACTED; court granted an expungement of the records on 15-MAR-2016], was charged with one count of prostitution after he offered an undercover officer $80.00 for sexual intercourse. [REDACTED] was detained and later charged after he met the undercover officer in the Leonardtown area. [REDACTED] is awaiting a hearing in the District Court.

OXYCODONE: Brandi Marie Kasulatis, age 26 of Hollywood, was indicted by detectives after she was found to be conspiring to distribute oxycodone and being in possession of a quantity of oxycodone with the intent to distribute.
