MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 15, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 10/11/2012 at 9:51 pm, Trooper First Class Logsdon stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 2 at Dalrymple Rd. in Sunderland. The driver, John T. Schafer, 51 of Sunderland, was arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle revealed a smoking pipe containing marijuana in the vehicle. Schafer was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DUI, POSSESSION OF COCAINE & CODEINE: On 10/13/2012 at 6:19 pm, Trooper Oles stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on White Sands Dr. at Evergreen Dr. in Lusby. The driver, William J. Broome, 56 of Lusby, was arrested for DUI. During a search to secure the vehicle, both Cocaine and Codeine located. Broome was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 10/14/2012 at 9:30 pm, Trooper First Class Esnes responded to the Exxon gas station in Prince Frederick for a reported intoxicated and disorderly person. Troopers contacted Bobby D. Martin, 46 of Prince Frederick. Martin was intoxicated and continued being disruptive, yelling profanities and disturbing customers and citizens in the area. He was subsequently placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
