MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 24, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) has released the following incident and arrest reports.

SHOPLIFTING: On 7/16/2012 at 12:59 pm, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the K-Mart in Prince Frederick for a reported shoplifting complaint. Albert M. Brooks, 79 of Prince Frederick, was charged with stealing merchandise from the store. He was issued a Criminal Citation.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 7/17/2012 at 9:22 am, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 260 near St. Andrews Church Rd. in Owings. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the inside of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed that Gabrielle M. Bellucci, 21 of Chesapeake Beach, was in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: On 7/17/2012 at 9:35 pm, Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the 1700 block of Clarissa Ct. in Huntingtown for a check welfare request. Samuel S. Hill Jr., 47 of Huntingtown, was found to have discharged a firearm. He was extremely intoxicated and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Charges are pending.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 7/17/2012 at 9:41 pm, Trooper First Class Wiersma stopped a vehicle for traffic violation on Rt. 4 near Church Rd. in Prince Frederick. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. A search revealed that Kristoffer P. Hale, 34 of Prince Frederick, was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 7/18/2012 at 2:45 am, Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle at Rt. 4 and Chaneyville Rd. in Owings for traffic violations. The driver, Zachary B. Duran, 22 of Huntingtown, was arrested for driving under the influence. A search revealed that he was in possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 7/19/2012 at 10:00 am, Corporal Bennett handled a complaint for an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Nancy A. White, 48 of Brandywine, refused to return a 2006 blue Chrysler PT Cruiser as previously agreed upon. The vehicle has been entered in NCIC. Charges are pending.

DUI, CONCEALED WEAPON: On 7/22/2012 at 12:08 am, Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 5000 block of Christana Parran Rd. in Sunderland for a motor vehicle collision. John M. Sullivan, 18 of Sunderland, was arrested for driving under the influence. A search revealed that he was in possession of a butterfly knife. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
