St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 16, 2011)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

TRESPASSING: On November 14, deputies responded to St. Mary's Hospital for the report of a trespasser. Investigation revealed Pauline Denise Chase, 51, of Great Mills, was told by a security officer at the hospital to leave the property, which she refused. Deputy Snyder responded and escorted Chase off the hospital property and ordered her not to return. A short time later Chase returned to the lobby of the hospital and refused to leave after being told to do so by security personnel. Deputy Kerby arrived, arrested Chase and charged her with Trespassing.

DRUG ARREST: On November 15 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Deputy Flerlage was conducting a premise check of the Charlotte Hall Farmers Market located at 29890 Three Road in Charlotte Hall. He observed a white passenger vehicle parked under a canopy with the driver's door open and light on. Deputy Flerlage made contact with the occupant of the vehicle identified as Samantha Joell Faucette, 21, of Waldorf. While speaking with Faucette, Deputy Flerlage observed a syringe and bloodied napkin. Deputy Flerlage had Faucette exit the vehicle and conducted a consent search of the vehicle. Deputy Flerlage located a syringe containing suspected heroin under the front seat. Faucette was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia.

DRUG ARREST: On November 15, deputies responded to a broadcast for a theft which had occurred at the WalMart located at 45485 Miramar Way in California. A description of the fleeing suspect was also broadcast. Deputy Ellis located and made contact with a subject matching the lookout description on Chancellor's Run Road. Deputy Ellis identified the subject as Charles Aloysius Bowman, Jr., 49, of Great Mills. During a consent search of his person, Deputy Ellis located small glass bottle containing suspected PCP. Bowman was arrested and charged with possession of CDS.
