LA PLATA, Md. (November 3, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT FROM AUTO: Between Oct. 26 - Nov. 1, unknown suspect(s) stole tools from a van in the 2600 block of Pinewood Drive in Waldorf. PFC Sershen is investigating.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Nov. 1 at 1:13 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Ashford Lane in Waldorf for a residential intrusion alarm. Upon arrival, officers noticed the back door had been kicked in. A police K-9 searched the house but no one was inside. The homeowner indicated nothing appeared to have been stolen. A witness reported seeing a teenaged male walking away from the house just after the alarm sounded. Detective T. Hemsley is investigating.
