The Calvert County Attorney’s Office provides legal services to the BOCC and all departments of county government. Norris and his staff are responsible for giving legal advice to the county commissioners and county employees; reviewing all legal documents for legal sufficiency; rendering legal opinions; prosecuting violations of county ordinances in court; representing the county in lawsuits brought against and on behalf of the county; and updating the County Code.
