MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 11, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 6/1/11 at 9:22 a.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the 11500 block of Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A 2002 Tan Ford Explorer was removed from the victim's residence without permission. Raymond E. Goode, 46, of Owings, was found operating the vehicle in Dunkirk and was arrested. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 6/4/11 at 7:52 a.m., Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 3100 block of Solomons Island Rd. in Huntingtown for a reported destruction of property. The victim's Dodge Caravan's back window was broken and two passenger side tires were punctured. Investigation continues.

BICYCLE THEFT: On 6/4/11 at 6:05 p.m., Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the Cove Point Park Pool Area for a reported stolen bicycle. An unsecured black Diamondback bicycle was stolen. Investigation continues.

DUI ARRESTS:

John B. COLLINS, 36, of Suitland, arrested on 06/04/11 @ 01:20 am by TFC R. Lewis

Vernon LANDIS, 26, of Clinton, arrested on 06/05/11 @ 01:02 am by TFC R. Lewis
