St. Mary's Co. Adopts National Electrical Code 2011


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 10, 2011)—The St. Mary's County Board of Electrical Examiners voted on Tuesday, June 7, to adopt the National Electrical Code 2011 with an effective date of August 1. This is in accordance with the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2006-02, which reads, "…all electrical installations in St. Mary's County shall meet the standards and requirements set forth by this most recent edition of the National Electrical Code, beginning sixty (60) days after the first publication of that edition."
