Charles Co. High Schools Announce Spring Theatre Lineup


LA PLATA, Md. (March 13, 2011) — Student actors in Charles County’s six public high schools are preparing for spring plays, which begin this month. A list of school plays, ticket and contact information for each high school follows.

Thomas Stone High School’s Imagination Playhouse will present “Annie,” a musical written by Thomas Meehan, on March 31, and April 1-2. Show time for all three performances is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Call 301-645-2601 for more details.

Henry E. Lackey High School will present “Grease,” on April 8-9, at 7 p.m., and at 2 p.m. on April 10. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for students and military service members, and $6 for thespians. Call 301-743-5431 for more information.

Actors at North Point High School are presenting “Anything Goes,” on April 7-9 at 7 p.m., with a matinee show on April 9 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and $4 for thespians. Call 301-753-1759 for more information.

The drama department at Maurice J. McDonough High School is presenting “West Side Story,” on April 7-9 at 7 p.m., and a matinee performance on April 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and $7 for children and thespians.
