Drug Arrests in St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 15, 2010)—The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE: Vice Narcotics detectives received information in regards to Tyreke Delonte Butler, 19 of Lexington Park, and his involvement in drug trafficking in the southern portion of St. Mary's County. As a result of the investigation, several undercover purchases of cocaine were made. Suspect Butler was indicted by the St. Mary's County Grand Jury and an arrest warrant was issued to hold him in a No Bond status. He is waiting to be arraigned.

DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE: William Arnold Stone, 47 of Hollywood, was arrested on an open indictment for Distribution of Cocaine. Vice Narcotics detectives made undercover purchases from the suspect. The case was reviewed by State's Attorney Richard D. Fritz and the St. Mary's County Grand Jury handed down an arrest warrant. He was originally being held in a No Bond status.
