MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 12, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Wednesday, July 7 at 6:24 pm, Tpr. R. L. Jackson conducted a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Lockes Hill Road on a black Ford Explorer for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Tpr. Jackson had difficulty confirming the subjects identity with the information provided due to lack of documentation. An MVA query produced photographic evidence that confirmed the operator was Evaristo Soriano Ramirez, 25, of Clinton. Mr. Ramirez indicated a license status of suspended. While moving the vehicle safely to the shoulder, CDS was discovered in plain view in Mr. Ramirez's vehicle. A subsequent probable cause search revealed no additional items. Mr. Ramirez was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. He will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST : On Friday, July 9 at 3:56 am, Tpr. S. Casarella responded to a motor vehicle property damage accident in the area of Maryland Route 235 and Airport View Drive. Upon making contact with one of the involved parties, it was determined that Justin Sky Noonan, 23, of Hollywood, was under the influence of alcohol. A subsequent search of his vehicle revealed Marijuana. Mr. Noonan was arrested for DUI, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Noonan was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT OVER $1000: On Friday, July 9 at 3:15 pm, TFC K. D. Lashley responded to the Colton's Point Marina for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 43, of Colton's Point, who advised his boat and trailer were stolen by unknown subjects while parked in the 28000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Any information regarding this case may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack; this investigation is ongoing.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, July 10 at 7:56 am, TFC J. G. Fleetwood arrested Christopher W. Quade, Jr., 22, of Clements on a bench warrant (T3-14373) issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The warrant was issued on March 17 with an original charge of Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Quade was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Saturday, July 10 at 1:13 pm, TFC J. R. Stern responded to the 25000 block of Blue Heron Lane in Hollywood for a reported malicious destruction of property. Upon arrival, TFC Stern observed several mailboxes at the intersection of Steer Horn Neck Road and Blue Heron Lane, one of the mailboxes was damaged with the damaged pieces within the surrounding area. Information provided by a male complainant, 84, of Hollywood established that the destruction occurred between the hours of 8:00 pm on July 9 and 10:00 am on July 10. Any information pertaining to this case can be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack; this investigation is ongoing.
