Great Mills Man Receives Criminal Summons for Dumpster Fire


ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. (April 29, 2010) – Investigators served a criminal summons on a Great Mills Man in connection with the April 25 dumpster fire at Hickory Hills Development in Great Mills, St. Mary’s County. The fire caused an estimated $600 damage to the dumpster owned by Calvert Trash Company.

The summons was served on Bulasio Mutyaba Mukibi, age 18, at his residence in the 22000 block of Tera Lane, Great Mills, without incident. Information developed during the investigation determined the fire had been set by the suspect.

Mukibi is charged with Arson to a Trash Container. The penalty is imprisonment not to exceed thirty days and/or a $500 fine.
